Slow Cooker Smothered Pork Chops
Ingredients
4 bone-in pork chops, about 1-inch thick
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 cup beef broth
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
Season the pork chops with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the pork chops for 2–3 minutes on each side until browned.
Place the chopped onion in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Add the pork chops on top of the onions.
In a bowl, mix together the beef broth, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce.
